Integrated Accounting & Operations

Nothing will drive consistent bottom line performance for construction contractors more than tighter integration between accounting and operations.

This intense one day workshop is geared for senior managers and owners of subcontractors in the $10 - 75M per year range. It is facilitated by multiple senior consultants from D. Brown Management each with deep experience in the construction industry. The facilitation and peer group interaction is geared to help senior managers and owners generate ideas and a plan for improving performance by helping both accounting, operations, estimating and business development work together more effectively.

11. Managing Business Development Processes

12. Measuring the Status and Financial Return on Customer Satisfaction

In addition to these 12 core ideas we also heavily discuss the challenges of organizational change which is the toughest part.

Workshop Also Includes...

360 Degree Organizational Assessment: Prior to the workshop we will do a survey of your organization including interviews with selective team members. The survey will help highlight potential problems and opportunities that can be addressed during the workshop.

Post Workshop Follow-Up: Throughout the workshop we will generate dozens of key action items that will help the organization move towards a more integrated operating model. Approximately 30 days after the workshop we will schedule a web conference with your key team members. The purpose of this follow-up is to keep action items on-track and build on ideas generated during the workshop.

Why Our Approach Towards Integration Is Unique

Many consulting firms are heavily focused on a single discipline such as finance, estimating or technology. With D. Brown Management you will get multi-faceted viewpoints including how to integrate better with field crews, the virtues of conservative financial management, efficiency in the business development processes, risk management and controls for project management and tight integration with technology.
